No Foreclosures or Evictions
The Governors Executive order has put a 90 day moratorium on all evictions due to non-payment of rent.
The US Department of Housing and Urban Development has issued a moratorium on foreclosures for Freddie and Fannie backed mortgages (should be most of you). More here...
Mortgage Payment Assistance
The Federal Housing Finance Agency has announced that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will offer payment forbearance (a pause in making payments, with interest still accruing), for up to a year, to single family homeowners that can demonstrate financial hardship resulting from COVID-19. This same forbearance will be offered to multifamily property owners in exchange for the suspension of evictions.
To take advantage of this, or to research your options, call your mortgage servicer and ask if your mortgage is backed by Freddie or Fannie, and ask about your options to pause your payments.

The IRS has extended the Federal tax filing deadline from April 15 until July 15.
No word yet on yet on the State of Oregon extending its deadline, so be aware that you must still file your Oregon taxes by April 15th (for now).

The City of Portland has compiled a comprehensive list of emergency resources available, including food, shelter, utilities, businesses, seniors, etc. You can access the list here....
